The Story: Long ago, when humans were still around, a group of biologists set up an experiment involving deer. They set up a circular enclosure over a span of 150 acres. They build concrete walls that would keep predators out, pumped in water created a stream that lead out to a large lake, they planted birch, maple and pine trees all over the enclosure. They stacked boulders and tossed flower seeds about. Within five years everything was ready and stable enough for the biologists to begin their experiment: How well would the deer population do if they were unopposed by predators? Once everything was set and well, they brought in deer of all sorts. Over the deers the deer population did very well and the scientists noticed that the deer changed. They had strange colorings and markings, such as blues and greens and swirls on their legs. Their sizes were extremely varied. They ranged from about 4 feet at the shoulder to about 7. But shortly after the tenth anniversary of the experiment, a horrible occurrence happened.

A disease swept through the human race and wiped every last one out, including the biologists. After that the walls began to slowly crumble and disintegrate. The deer inside stayed there for they were happy. Deer from outside slowly made their way into the enclosure as well, picking their way in through tricky piles of rubble. However deer weren't the only animals that made it through. Wolves, cougars and rabbits made their way in as well. Now the fight for survival for all four species has started and the deer are facing an entirely new idea to them: predators.
